Keith Jardine
‘The Dean Of Mean’ Keith Jardine was a well known figure in the light-heavyweight ranks during his UFC tenure, but since retiring in 2012 he’s forged a new path as an actor and stuntman.
Jardine actually first started acting at the tail-end of his career, landing parts as an extra on TV shows like ‘Breaking Bad'(as an uncredited bar fighter) and movies like Gamer and Crank 2.
His workload only increased after he hung up his gloves and in 2014 he began doing stuntwork too, starting with Transendence and then going on to the likes of Dawn of The Planet Of The Apes, Jurassic Park, Only The Brave and most recently Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, while he’s continued to land roles as an extra too in movies like John Wick and Bird Box.
The John Wick movie in particular was a memorable one for Jardine as not only was it an iconic action movie, but years earlier lead actor Keanu Reeves had come up to him during a UFC event to tell him he was a fan of his work.
