Ralek Gracie
Not content with being a member of one of MMA’s most revered fighting family’s and a jiu-jitsu master in his own right, Ralek Gracie has also pursued a sideline gig as a rapper.
In 2010 he released his self-produced single, ‘Dream World,’ but it would be his later single, ‘GINAGI (G-In-A-Gi)’ featuring a video that he also directed, that he would be most recognised for.
The track would get over 200,000 listens on YouTube, though it was often mocked by the MMA and BJJ communities and featured the dubious line, “this sh*t could get heavy like tons of broccoli.”
Gracie would follow up the track in 2017 with another single called ‘Torch’ which was widely panned and was later set to ‘private’ on YouTube.
