Alexander Yakovlev
Russian fighter Alexander ‘Bad Boy’ Yakovlev had a long fighting career before he ever joined the UFC in 2016, amassing a 26-6 record competing for the likes of M-1 Challenge and Bellator.
Despite that busy work load that saw him often fighting 5 or 6 times a year, Yakovlev also found time to showcase his rapping with a couple of singles that found popularity in his native land.
However, Yakovlev has insisted that it’s his MMA career that comes first.
“Rap for me is nothing more than a hobby,” Yakovlev told UFC.com. “I shot two videos for my MMA fans, just to be more captivating and interesting. I do not have strong ties to the music world: I am truly a fighter at heart.”
