Sadly there is no video to show off UFC fighter Sarah Frota’s former life as the singer for a hardcore heavy metal band in her native Brazil.
However, once you’ve seen what she looks like you’ll likely have little difficulty in picturing the heavily tattooed, menacing looking ‘A Treta’ as a leading lady in a bad on the underground circuit there.
Years later Frota would discover Brazilian jiu-jitsu and that new passion would lead to a career in MMA that would ultimately lead to her stepping aside from the music business.
“Two and a half years ago I was still teaching jiu-jitsu all day every day, leaving the gym at 10 p.m., going to a burger shop to play until three in the morning and going back home to sleep and wake up early to open the gym again,” Frota told MMAfighting.com earlier this year.
