Yair Rodriguez elbow KO

There have been a countless number of incredible knockout victories in the Octagon, but Yair Rodriguez’s finish against ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung in the main event of the promotion’s 25th Anniversary show at UFC Fight Night 139 on November 10th is surely up there with the all-time greats.

The two fighters battled tooth and nail from start to finish in an all-out war that saw them both get rocked, but heading into the final few seconds of the fight it seemed that the judges were going to have to decide the winner.

However, The Korean Zombie then stealed himself for one last big attack in the hope of a definitive victory, only for Rodriguez to duck underneath and launch a no-look upward elbow to the sky that connected with perfect timing to Jung’s exposed chin.

It proved to be a devastating blow and a finishing move like no other ever witnessed in the Octagon before, sending the Zombie face-first onto the canvas unconscious with just a single second of the fight remaining.
