Conor McGregor Bus Attack

Upset by past comments made by Conor McGregor’s long-time teammate Artem Lobov, Khabib Nurmagomedov decided to verbally confront him at a hotel in NYC during fight week at UFC 233, setting off a chain reaction that would lead to some of the wildest moments of the year.

When word of the incident got back to McGregor in Ireland he reacted furiously, immediately gathering his entourage and taking a private jet across the pond seeking payback.

Upon arriving McGregor and his crew stormed the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn following a media day in search of Nurmagomedov, eventually tracking him down in a bus full of fighters preparing to depart the building.

The mob led by McGregor went on the rampage, with McGregor grabbing a steel dolly and launching it through one of the bus windows, sending glass showering onto fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg, who suffered inuries that would force them out of their fights that weekend.

Meanwhile another of McGregor’s cronies threw a chair that smashed the front window, while inbetween yelling for Nurmagomedov to come out, ‘The Notorious’ armed himself with a nearby barricade, before being stopped by security staff and finally fleeing the scene.

In the aftermath of the incident a warrant was issued for McGregor’s arrest and he’d go on to face 12 seperate charges after turning himself in.

Several months later McGregor pled guilty to disorderly conduct as part of a deal to avoid jail time and was ordered to attend anger management treatment, undergo five days of community service and pay full restitution to the bus company.
