Does Dana White Beat Conor McGregor On The Punch Machine?

0

Conor McGregor is one of the hardest hitters in the featherweight division, but UFC president Dana White is a big dude, who do you think got the best scores?

The UFC makes a big point of promoting hard hitters with big personalities, so it’s no surprise that UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor got to where he is so quickly.

The trash talking Irish puncher certainly packs a wallop, and he used his power to put Chad Mendes out of commission at UFC 189 to capture the junior belt. Now we wait for the unification match against Jose Aldo at UFC 194 on 12/12.

‘The Notorious,’ Cain Velasquez, Jon Jones and UFC president Dana White recently tested out their punching power on an arcade machine, and the results were very interesting.

Perhaps at first thought you’d think that the bigger or more muscled the fighter, the harder they must hit. But it’s not that simple. Technique, accuracy and speed are three major factors in how powerful a punch will be, and the results today might surprise you.

Vitor Belfort Has Found ‘Legal’ Steroid For MMA Fights

Champ Chris Weidman takes Instagram swipe at UFC 181 title ...

Just when you thought that cheating in the UFC was beginning to be under control, ex-champion Vitor Belfort drops the bombshell…..

Former UFC two-weight champion Vitor Belfort has become one of the most controversial MMA fighters ever. His shady history of steroid abuse, and testosterone use is well documented, and he failed his first ever drug test while still a fighting teenager.

His storied career has seen him fight all over the globe, even with the world’s largest promotion at the turn of the millennium, Pride FC in Japan. Having always been known for his killer hand speed and knockout power, ‘The Phenom’ has some serious highlight reel finishes to his credit.

So why all the ruckus about his drug test history now?? The answer lies in Belfort’s ever changing physique. The end of the TRT era saw Belfort come back for his fight against UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman at UFC 187 this summer, and he looked like a welterweight.

Now booked in to fight Dan Henderson at UFC Fight Night 77 this month, the Brazilian talent is once again looking bulky. BUT, there’s no TRT or the chance of him using anabolic steroids with the new stricter USADA (United States Ant Doping Agency) testing, so what’s the deal?

At his age, Belfort should not be producing enough testosterone to be making such huge gains in lean muscle in short periods of time. So what’s the secret?

Belfort claims to have found a ‘legal’ drug, which he reveals in the video on page three….

UFC strawweight prospect Paige VanZant is currently booked in for a huge bout at UFC Fight Night 80, as she prepares to face former title challenger Rose ‘Thug’ Namajunas in the evening’s main event. Riding a three fight UFC win streak and undoubtedly one of the brightest stars even with her short tenure, ’12 Gauge’ has a bright future in the sport of MMA.

Along with ‘Super’ Sage Northcutt, VanZant is a breed of new mixed martial artists with more than simply fighting skills. She is a complete package, drop dead gorgeous, and very marketable. Many feel that she represents the future of the sport, in the form of a visually appeasing character that the promotion hopes will have a long tenure and high PPV sell rate down the line.

The pairing with Namajunas, albeit due to a Jo Calderwood injury, is quite surprising at this stage in her young career, as many believed VanZant would take the can crushing route for a little longer. ‘Thug’ is a very tough test, coming off a great submission finish over Angela Hill, and only losing twice in 12 total amateur and professional fights.

When MMA fighters get caught up in the heat of the moment, truly anything can and often does happen. With trained professional martial artists unleashed inside the cage or ring, emotions and testosterone levels run high.

We’ve seen many examples of fighters acting nuts over the years, for example Paul Daley punching Josh Koscheck after they fought in the UFC. That’s just one of many, how about when Nick Diaz and his crew brawled with Jake Shields at Strikeforce Nashville?

Of these examples though, the referees haven’t really been involved. Today’s article is a completely different story. Sometimes fighters lose control enough to start attacking referees, the very men present to help maintain their health and safety while in combat.

Some referees were less fortunate than others, and a few actually kick ass.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson captured the viewing audiences in the late 80’s and 90′ with his savage power in the ring. ‘Kid Dynamite’ as he was first known was a dynamo of power and aggression, with a seemingly impenetrable defense.

Over the years we’ve seen big names come and go, heroes and villains, promotions collapsing to the mightier sword, and overall we are now given quite an in-depth look in to the lives of the characters associated with the combat sport.

With the success of MMA globally, there comes a price. Also due to the massively expanded exposure, we are seeing ten-a-penny douchebags, some who are legitimate forces as fighters, and others who are simply involved in the business.

Some of these people can prove quite entertaining, but at one point or another have ended up becoming as stale as old bread. Then there are others who were simply born douchebags, but of course this does not speak for the entire sport.

Reality TV shows, big trash talking and brawls in the lead up to fights, and the growth of social media and content sharing have lead us to be able to see the true colors of many MMA celebrities.

We’ve compiled a list of top 5 MMA douchebags, hope you enjoy!

MMA Fighter Challenges Jiu Jitsu Player, What Happens Next Is Crazy

MMA fighters can get a bit heated sometimes, but this backstage video takes crazy to a whole new level….

The glory days of Pride FC saw many classic bouts between the top level of competition in the sport. At that time, the UFC was a little known organization and undoubtedly played second fiddle to the Japanese MMA promotion.

Many of the prominent names during that era of MMA are still relevant today, mostly in the UFC but also under other major mixed martial arts banners.

As time passed, the UFC eventually bought out Pride, but that’s another story all together. Back to the case in point, sometimes fighters like to take the fight outside of the ring, and when that happens, it can get very crazy real fast.

This situation happened at Pride Shockwave 2005, and involved members of the Chute Boxe Acadamy, a well known MMA gym in Brazil, and Charles ‘Krazy Horse’ Bennett. The American fighter had just defeated Ken Kaneko and gone backstage to get changed in the locker rooms.

At this time, ‘Krazy Horse’ met with Wanderlei Silva and renowned Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach Cristiano Marcello. Words were exchanged, and what happened next went down in the history books as one of the most notorious moments in the organization’s illustrious history.

We’ve got the whole video of the incident coming up, and also some bonus interviews with the fighters involved including some shocking allegations and revelations.

UFC 194 is shaping up to be the best MMA card of the year, and is headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Jose Aldo for the featherweight title unification Watch the brand new previews here….

The stacked UFC 194 PPV (pay-per-view) card is just over a month away now, and the anticipation is building to astronomical levels. The main event for the card, Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor has a year long beef behind it, and has fans doing loops.

It all started in 2013 when a brash McGregor entered the featherweight division with a knockout win over Marcus Brimage. From there, ‘The Notorious’ went on a year long trash talking and five fight winning spree to eventually get his crack at the featherweight champ Aldo.

Unfortunately for the fans ‘Scarface’ was injured before their original UFC 189 booking and unable to compete. McGregor would defeat Chad Mendes at the event to capture the promotion’s interim belt, further setting up their collision with plenty more insults aimed at the Brazilian champion.

Now with just over six weeks left until showtime, there’s once again a massive buzz around Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor, and the unification bout couldn’t come at a better time. The UFC 194 event is going to be action packed, and also features a middleweight title fight between Luke Rockhold and the champ Chris Weidman.

In anticipation of the monumental event on December 12, the UFC has released three separate promo videos for UFC 194, check them out….

WATCH! New TUF: Team McGregor vs Team Faber Promo –– Things Get ...

Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber shared some classic moments on The Ultimate Fighter 22, but this one is easily the most outrageous….

UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor has became a sensation in the world of MMA, using his wit and brash attitude to get himself noticed quickly. His performances inside the octagon have seen him paired with champ Jose Aldo at UFC 194.

Victories over Chad Mendes, Dustin Poirier, Dennis Siver, Diego Brandao, Marcus Brimage and Max Holloway see McGregor planted just shy of the Brazilian at the head of the division, and the December 12 unification bout is very highly anticipated.

While ‘Scarface’ was injured, McGregor took up a coaching spot on The Ultimate Fighter 22 opposite former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber. The two have created some good viewing on TUF, but there’s been a lot going on outside the show for Faber.

‘The California Kid’ recently had UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw split from the Team Alpha Male gym in Sacramento, fulfilling ‘The Notorious’ prophecy just weeks before ‘The Viper’ left for Colorado.

Then there’s the naked woman that broke in to Faber’s house in the middle of the night and crapped all over his bathroom, but that’s another story. With Dillashaw causing so much commotion in the Alpha Make camp, it’s no wonder that tempers started fraying during TUF 22.

McGregor steps over the line in the following video, causing a controversial argument with a twist, that ends up being one of the funniest and craziest Ultimate Fighter moments in the reality TV shows long history.

Although Faber and McGregor will likely never fight in the octagon, they’ve come closed a few times including in the upcoming clip.
