Arianny Celeste Arrested For Domestic Violence
During the weekend of UFC 146 back in May of 2012, news emerged that Arianny Celeste had been arrested on a domestic violence charge after an altercation with her partner, Praveen Chandra.
It was reported that the two had got into an argument regarding text messages while in a limousine, which led to Celeste kicking Chandra in the face, injuring his nose in the process.
The situation continued to escalate in their room at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas afterwards, with Celeste reportedly throwing two vases at him, while Chandra allegedly choked her multiple times, before an employee say he went to investigate after complaints from other guests, only to spot the Octagon girl fleeing from the room.
When police arrived, Chandra had injuries to his nose and scratches on his chest and arm, while Celeste had scratches on her right arm.
Both Celeste and Chandra were arrested with battery domestic violence, with Celeste quickly posting her $3,000 bail so she could still perform her Octagon girl duties at UFC 146, while the charges against both were later dropped due to insufficient evidence.
