10. UFC Video Game Deal

In 2008, the UFC had a problem; fighters from the American Kickboxing Academy were refusing to sign away for their likeness to be used in the upcoming UFC video game.

The team at AKA, most notably Jon Fitch, were not interested in simply signing away their likeness for the UFC to use for as long as they wish. White responded by cutting Fitch, and another AKA fighter Christian Wellisch, and publicly stating that they would no longer do business with any AKA fighters. AKA quickly relented, the AKA fighters re-hired, and the short-lived ban on AKA fighters in the UFC was lifted.

White didn’t have any more problems with fighters signing away the rights to use their likeness afterwards.
