Stipe Miocic vs. Colby Covington
Nobody knows quite what Colby Covington said to UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic’s wife after he defeated Daniel Cormier to reclaim the title at UFC 241. But regardless, it’s left Miocic with a score to settle.
“My wife was walking to the cage, and I guess he was saying something to her and my manager being the man he is told him to shut his . . . He told him to shut the f*ck up,” Miocic told 77 WABC. “To this day my manager won’t tell me what he said, so I’m going to find out. I’m very good, I’m like the FBI. I will find out what he said and I’m just gonna go up to him and talk to him about it.”
If they do, it won’t be the first time Covington has had a run-in with a heavyweight fighter. Fabricio Werdum infamously hit ‘Chaos’ with a boomerang in Australia due to disparaging remarks the loudmouthed welterweight fighter had made about Brazil in the past.
