Michael Bisping
While not a conventional ‘muscian,’ retired UFC star Michael Bisping was actually a DJ under the alias, ‘Mikey B’ for many years before his fighting career took off.
That included DJing at an incredibly rough club in Manchester called Munroes, which Bisping claims was where the bouncers from other pubs and clubs would go to hang out after their shift was over, along with gangsters and party goers.
On the ‘Legion Of Skanks’ podcast, Bisping recalled one crazy night in particular in which he had his record box stolen after a gig there, and in a rage went out into the car park demanding people open their car trunks in the hopes of finding it again.
Some people obliged, but two men sitting in a car refused, which convinced him they must be the thieves.
Bisping became more irate until they eventually agreed to open it, though he was warned that after he’d seen what was inside he should just, “walk away and shut the f*ck up.”
The future UFC champion didn’t find what he was expecting though as inside there was a man, tied up and gagged, moaning for help!
Bisping left in a hurry after that and never did get reunited with his record collection.
