The Fake Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor drew a huge crowd of adoring fans when he unexpectedly showed up at Muscle Beach in Venice, California for a workout just a month before his blockbuster boxing debut with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
There was only one catch – it wasn’t actually ‘The Notorious’ but rather an impersonator named Islam Badurgov who had disguised himself with McGregor’s trademark beard and tatoos, sunglasses and cocky swagger.
It helped that McGregor himself had previously been filmed workout at the same location and as a bodybuilder, Badurgov was able to show off some impressive feats of strength on the bars as a large crowd began to gather.
having fooled them he then took off in a Bentley and headed into the city of los Angeles where the vehicle was soon surrounded a mob of fans all looking to take pictures and get autographs, completely unaware that he was an imposter.
