Andy Eichholz vs. Wade Sauer

In an amateur fight back in 2014, Andy Eichholz suffered the kind of broken nose that would leave any fighter questioning their choice of career.

Going up against Wade Sauer at ‘Full Nelson Promotions: Let’er Buck’ in Oregon, Eichholz lasted just 14 seconds before being TKO’d by a straight right, with ground and pound to follow.

Only after the fight was waved off did the full extent of the damage become clear, with Eichholz nose now sporting an alarming detour over to the right hand side of his face.

Eichholz apparently thought better of his MMA career afterwards, as despite having had a 5-6 run as an amateur and 2-2 spell as a pro, he hasn’t fought again since.
