Ryan McGillivray vs Training Partner
TUF 23 alum and one-time UFC fighter Ryan McGillivray is no stranger to having his nose broken, having once claimed that the very first day he showed up at an MMA gym he suffered a break at the hands of another former UFC fighter, Jason MacDonald.
However, that was nothing compared to the damage he suffered years later in 2011 during another training room misadventure.
‘The Kid’ posted a picture on Twitter revealing his completely mangled, ‘Elephant-Man’ style nose, which was apparently the result of bobbing when he should have weaved in sparring, leading him to him getting caught clean by a nasty knee strike.
McGillivray would go on to fight two more times in 2012 after recovering from surgery for his latest break, but the now 32-year-old hasn’t fought again since then.
