If you didn’t know Paige VanZant the odds are that the last career path that you’d ever imagine her going down would be that of a professional fighter.
Growing up, VanZant’s cover-girl good looks led her into modeling for the likes of Nike and Columbia Sportswear as well as acting, cheerleading and dancing, but after moving to Las Vegas she discovered a martial arts gym and soon became hooked on the sport of MMA, which completely changed her career path.
As it turned out, PVZ has proven to be a whole lot tougher than she looks and in addition to fighting her way into the UFC, she’s won fans respect for her never-say-die attitude, which included continuing to fight for the best part of three rounds with a broken arm in 2018.
VanZant has still been able to leverage her talents outside of the Octagon during her time in the UFC though, including modeling for the likes of Reebok and Sports Illustrated, while also making it to the runner-up spot on Dancing With The Stars.
