Paddy Hollohan
With his bright ginger beard, skinny frame and unassuming demeanor, Irishman Paddy Hollohan had a look that suggested he was more of a poet than a pugelist.
Hollohan’s favourite passtime – drinking cups of tea – also seemed completely at odds with most people’s perception of what a fighter would be like, yet he is a 15-fight veteran with a very respectable 12-2-1 record, including five fights in the UFC.
Hollohan was a member of Conor McGregor’s camp at SBG Ireland and first entered the UFC via The Ultimate Fighter reality show, and was one of his home country’s favorite fighters during his 3-2 run in the promotion.
A gentleman outside of the cage, Holohan unfortunately had to call time on his career prematurely in 2016 due to a rare blood disorder.
