He has done nothing to deserve it, but Daniel Cormier is one of the most hated fighters in all of mixed martial arts.
On almost any tweet, instagram post, or Facebook update Cormier puts out there will be a stream of internet trolls bashing him underneath.
Even after gaining some sympathy from MMA fans after Jon Jones had to be pulled from the UFC 200 main event, Cormier quickly found himself on the wrong side of public opinion. Cormier was roundly booed and criticized for fighting cautiously with Anderson Silva at UFC 200.
He is a former olympian who does everything the right way, and MMA fans hate him for that.
