Justin Wren

Cruelly bullied at school, Justin Wren felt worthless, broken and at times even suicidal, and though he’d learned to deal with his tormentors after winning a state wrestling championship, he still had issues and was clinically diagnosed with depression at 13-years-old.

Nevertheless, Wren became an MMA fighter and reached the UFC via ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, but meanwhile he was trying to fill the void he felt inside with drugs and alcohol and hit rock bottom when he was kicked from his fight team.

However, Wren has stated that discovering religion through a friend helped turn his life around, while he then found meaning and purpose in his life by helping others.

He started a charitable foundation ‘Fight For The Forgotten’ to aid the plight of the Pygmies in the Congo and personally spending over a year helping build wells to provide clean water in the region.
