Donald Cerrone vs. Tony Ferguson
A fight between Donald Cerrone and Tony Ferguson at UFC 238 was billed as ‘The People’s Main Event,’ and sure enough it proved to be a thriller.
It’s not clear whether an after-the-bell strike following the second round by Ferguson broke Cerrone’s nose, but either way, ‘Cowboy’ then made the classic mistake of blowing his nose, which resulted in his right eye instantly swelling shut.
Cerrone probed at his eye, trying to regain some vision, but the damage was done and the fight was waved off, bringing a disappointing end to an action-packed fight.
Cerrone was lucky though as despite how bad it looked, it turned out that he didn’t fracture his orbital bone.
