Ryan Dickson vs. Nah-Shon Burrell
You’ll be hard pushed to find a nastier cut than the one Ryan Dickson suffered against former UFC fighter Nah-Shon Burrell at GPG 22 in 2015.
The fight ended early in the second round after Dickson suffered a mind-bogglingly bad wound to his left eyebrow that made it seem as if he’d been attacked by an axe rather than a clenched fist encased in a glove.
Dickson was a tough customer – after all he’d survived a battle with testicular cancer just two years earlier – but despite only being in his mid-20’s this was the fight that made up his mind that it was time to bring his 10-5 career to a close.
