The Upkick
Niko Price has a knack for finding finishes against opponents when you least expect it, and such was the case against James Vick at UFC Fight Night 161 this year.
Less than two minutes into the fight, Price was on his back with Vick on top, but as he postured up off his knees, Price unleashed a brutal upkick, landing with the heel flush to his opponent’s face.
The impact knocked Vick out cold and he would remain unconscious for a worrying period of time afterwards, though thankfully he has made a full recovery.
Price’s upkick was only the second to end in a knockout in the history of the UFC.
