Molly McCann vs. Priscila Cachoeira
Molly McCanna appeared to be getting the better of her fight with Priscila Cachoeira in the UFC earlier this year, but then in the final round she was caught by a right hook that soon had her eye swelling up badly.
Cachoeira landed more clean blows to the face, at which point the referee stopped the action to get a referee to check on McCann’s now apparently completely swollen shut eye.
Somehow the action was allowed to continue and McCann would tough out what would later be confirmed to be a broken orbital bone for several more minutes in order to make it to the final bell and emerge with a unanimous decision victory to become the first ever female fighter from the UK to win in the UFC.
