Ronda Rousey – Honoo-no Taiiku-Kai TV
In 2011, Ronda Rousey was not only beginning to gain momentum armbarring opponents in the Strikeforce promotion, she was also beating up grown men on the Japanese show ‘Honoo-no Taiiku-Kai TV.’
Rousey was challenged to go up against three men in a row in Judo-style matches, and the former Olympic judo bronze medalist and future UFC superstar was completely unphased by the challenge.
“I feel it would be more fair if I fought all three at once, but I still think they’d have no chance,” Rousey said beforehand.
Her first victim lasted just 17 seconds, then the second was thrown to the mat at the 33 second mark, while the final one lasted longer, but inevitably was eventually brought back down to earth after 2.02mins.
