Dave Kaplan – Jeopardy
Former UFC fighter Dave Kaplan managed to land himself a spot on one of TV’s longest-running quiz shows, ‘Jeopardy’ earlier this year.
Kaplan was hoping to fare better than his appearance on Season 8 of the UFC’s own reality show, The Ultimate Fighter, which had seen him suffer a loss to Philipe Nover in the quarter-finals, though he was perhaps best remembered for drunkenly challenging Tom Lawlor multiple times to punch him in the face, only to get instantly KO’d when he obliged.
Kaplan would go on to fight for the UFC twice, but after losing both and two more bouts after his release he retired in 2010.
It’s no easy feat to be selected for Jeopardy, but Kaplan wasn’t able to make an impact in his appearance on it, ending the show with $0.
